In a newly signed lease, the firm is taking 48,246 sf for an aggregate 80,000 sf. Mike Boyd and Conrad Bernard, both of Boyd Page, have acted on behalf of the building owner, Kin Properties, in the negotiations.

In an unrelated industrial lease, Calpine Central LP is leasing 45,919 sf on about 5.2 acres at Bayport North Industrial Park. Termed as a build-to-suit lease, the property is owned by the Don L. and Martha T. Tuffli Trust. Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc. brokers B. Kelley Parker and John F. Littman have represented the trust in the deal. Joe Peddie of Cushman Realty has handled negotiations for Calpine.

ProLogis Trust has had Abbey Party Rents of Houston Inc. renew its 64,666-sf lease at its 7930 Blankenship warehouse. The tenant, however, is looking to relocate, Cushman & Wakefield broker David Cook tells GlobeSt.com. The freshly signed pact spans four or five years while the decision is being made, he says. Cook, Todd A. Mason and Jeff G. Peden, all of Cushman & Wakefield, have represented Abbey Party Rents.
