Brea's Comeback is Nearly Complete

BREA, CA-CIM Group has completed the 98,000-sf final phase of Brea’s ambitious Birch Street redevelopment project here and says that the complex is almost fully leased, marking one of the final milestones in Brea’s long trek to bring new life to its once-dying Downtown.

The Birch Street development is comprised of retail, residential and office space. Tenants that will anchor the second and final phase include Tower Records, clothing retailers Old Navy and Clothestime, and several restaurants.

Many of the businesses in the just-completed final phase will open in the next month or two, says CIM Group principal Shaul Kuba. Tenants in the first phase, which opened last December, include other restaurants as well as retailers that range from designer Eddie Bauer to fast-growing footwear company Sketchers Inc.
