The land is located along West Garfield Road and West Mapledale Avenue.
The company is paying a $50,000 deposit, and paying the rest of the purchase cost in equal increments after each building is constructed. The company is also responsible for demolishing the homes currently on the sites.
The property had been purchased by the city with the plans of building a new city hall, police station and library complex. However, voters nixed the plan. The city is now considering to rebuild its current complex, now located at Nine Mile and John R. roads.
