Investment Broker Signs $11.2-Mil Lease

LOS ANGELES-JB Oxford & Co. has renewed a commitment for 22,502 sf of office space in Beverly Hills, the latest affirmation that many financial-services firms think LA-based companies still have upside potential.

LOS ANGELES-JB Oxford & Co. has signed on for 10 more years at its Beverly Hills address in the 9600 block of Wilshire Boulevard. The investment brokerage leases 22,502 sf in the building. Owner Arden Realty Inc., a locally based REIT, is expected to earn $11.2 million over the life lease.

Arden Realty’s building is fully leased to multiple tenants, including Smith Barney, Gruntel & Co., Weissman & Wolf and Sutro & Co. JB Oxford was represented by Jeff Cowan of Julien J. Studley’s LA office. The building owner, locally based REIT Arden Realty, was represented in-house by Gayle Landes.
