And there are still others, like MulvannyG2 Architecture, that are busy occupying spaces they have designed, built or financed. Mulvanny moved recently into its self-designed corporate headquarters in the newly opened Hines' One Twelfth @ Twelfth office complex in Downtown Bellevue. For Mulvanny, however, it's more than taking over mere space, it's the actual completion of a plan.

The 480,000-sf campus includes three, six-story buildings. Mulvanny will occupy the top three floors of the 134,000-sf MulvannyG2 Building. The two other buildings, each 173,000 sf, are still under construction, scheduled for completion later this spring.

The move to new corporate headquarters is not the only new addition for the firm. The move coincides with the firm's name change--from Mulvanny Architects to MulvannyG2 Architecture. The name change reflects the firm's increased size and professional focus due to its 1999 merger with G2 Architecture, a Seattle-based firm known for office design.
