Finkl & Sons Facility Nears Completion

WARREN, MI-The 43,000-sf industrial building will consist mostly of plant operations for specialty steel manufacturer A. Finkl & Sons Co. of Chicago. The building was designed by Chicago architect Scott Sonoc.

WARREN, MI-Associated Construction Services Corp. of Brighton, MI says the company is nearing completion of a new industrial and office facility here, says company President Ken McQuade. The industrial facility was built for A. Finkl & Sons Co.

The 43,000-sf building to be used for plant operations also houses four overhead cranes ranging from 20 to 50 tons. The remaining area is dedicated to office space.

Headquartered in Chicago, A. Finkl & Sons Co. provides specialty steel to the automotive tool and die, plastics and injection mold industries. ACS worked closely with Chicago architect Scott Sonoc to provide the client a modern distribution facility in the Detroit Metro area, company officials say.
