Schwinn/GT will take 323,660 sf at the Jasmine Distribution Center, 13083 Slover Ave. in Fontana. The five-year lease is valued at $6 million, according to brokers who worked on the deal.
The bike maker plans to move into its new home next month. The relocation, which will allow the company to consolidate its warehousing and distribution activities, will cost its longtime home of Santa Ana more than 200 jobs.
The Jasmine Distribution Center is owned by Adaya Asset Corp. The development manager of the project is Los Angeles-based Investment Development Services Inc.
Rob Fuelling and Amr Tannir of IDS, along with Chuck Belden of Cushman & Wakefield's Ontario office, represented Adaya Asset in the transaction. Mark Latimer of Insignia/ESG's San Gabriel Valley/Inland Empire office represented Schwinn/GT.
