The hotel is within walking distance of the new World Trade Center, Bell Harbor Conference Center, Port of Seattle headquarters and the Bell Street Pier. Construction of the project is scheduled to begin this summer.

The hotel, originally designed with nine stories, was redrawn in an attempt to save view corridors of Elliott Bay from some key city parks and locations. The new design features a tiered look on the waterfront hillside, beginning with eight stories and sloping down to four.

Wright Hotels said the building will contain 400 guest rooms, 1,300 square feet of retail space, a 125-seat restaurant, below ground parking for 116 cars and approximately 11,000 square feet of meeting rooms.
