Domino's Farms Plans Golf Course for College

ANN ARBOR, MI-Domino's Farms hopes to build a $20-million, 18-hole championship golf course on a large parcel and use a portion of dues for Ave Maria University and its satellite colleges pending township approval next month.

ANN ARBOR, MI-A plan is before the township planning commission June 4 to approve a $20-million, 18-hole championship golf course on 390 acres. The course will be built by DF Land development, a subsidiary of Domino’s Farms Development Corp., a real estate firm formerly owned by Domino’s pizza owner Tom Monaghan.

The land is located one mile north of M-14 on Dixboro Road. If it is approved, the company hopes to break ground in October and open in July 2003.

Once the course is running, part of the proceeds will be given to find Ave Maria University and its satellite colleges.
