Law Firm Inks 117,766-SF Lease

HOUSTON-As promised, Crescent has at last revealed the identity of its newest tenant at the under-construction 576,964-sf 5 Houston Center. A long-time tenant of Crescent properties, the Dallas-based law firm of Jenkens & Gilchrist, is joining the mix.

HOUSTON-Dallas-based mega law firm, Jenkens & Gilchrist has inked a pact for 117,766 sf of office space in 5 Houston Center, the Crescent Real Estate Equities’ building currently under construction in the CBD.

The law firm, which will house 45 lawyers plus support staff, will occupy the top four floors of the 576,964-sf office complex. Jenkens & Gilchrist has its corporate headquarters in another Crescent building, 1445 Ross Ave. in Dallas. “We have a longstanding relationship with them as a customer at one of our premier properties in Dallas,” says Jane Page, Crescent’s senior vice president of asset management & leasing for the Houston region.
