The Boca Raton company reported net losses, excluding preferred dividends, of $668,039, or nine cents a share, on total revenue of $10 million for the three-month period, compared with a net gain, excluding preferred dividends, of $110,990, or two cents a share, on total revenue of $10.9 million for the same period in 2000.
Much of the loss is being attributed to an 8.1% decrease in room and related-services revenue--$6.8 million for the quarter, down from $7.4 million.
Total operating income dropped to $367,454 for the quarter, down from $1.5 million, and earnings before income taxes, depreciation and amortization dropped to $1.4 million from $2.4 million.
