Peacock joined Jones Lang Wootton in 1972 and became a partner two years later. Prior to the merger, he became Managing Partner for Europe in 1992; European Chief Executive Officer from 1996 and International Chief Executive Officer from 1998.

Three new directors were also elected to the group board: European Chairman Robin Broadhurst; European Chief Executive Officer Robert Orr and Executive Vice President, Capital Investments and Technology William Sullivan.

Jones Lang LaSalle now has approximately 700 million square feet of corporate and investment properties under management worldwide. LaSalle Investment Management, the company's investment management business, has $22.5 billion of assets under management.
