South Bay Industrial Space Fetches $3.7 Mil

LOS ANGELES-Summit Investment Co. sells trio of buildings totaling 56,330 sf to separate buyers.

LOS ANGELES-A real estate investment firm has sold a trio of new distribution buildings in Gardena for a total of $3.7 million.

The buildings encompass 56,330 sf and are part of a four-building project developed by the seller, Santa Fe, NM-based Summit Investment Co. The tilt-up facilities feature ground level and truck high loading, 24-ft minimum interior warehouse clearance and modern sprinklers.

The largest of the three buildings has been acquired by a furniture design and import firm. The 26,079-sf facility stands at 1495 W. 139th St. The buyer, Marquis Design, has already occupied the space. Marquis Design was represented by Scott Peters and Dave Stromath of CB Richard Ellis. Summit was represented by Luke Staubitz and John Boehm of The Klabin Co.
