ABM Industries secured 45,375 sf of office space at a fully renovated building on Taylor Street in Union Square. The company will be the sole occupant of the space at 420 Taylor Street. The 10-year lease begins in July. Werbe Real Estate Trust owns the renovated, historic building most recently home to MyFamily.com.
About 56,000 sf of office space has just come on the market in another completely renovated building on Grant Street. The seven-story, 87-year-old historic building at 333 Grant Street was just completely renovated and is being marketed by Cushman & Wakefield's Jon Wittemyer. Full floors are about 7,500 sf and asking lease rates range from $40 to $65 sf per year.
The renovation of an early 1900's office building on Post Street should be finished by October. There will be about 60,000 sf of office space at 201 Post Street, along with about 12,000 sf of ground floor retail. Cushman and Wakefield's Zach Siegel is handling leasing on behalf of owner Trinity Properties.
