52,000-SF College Center Breaking Ground

HOUSTON-Caldwell Watson will kick off another college center project, a 52,000-sf undertaking with North Harris Montgomery County Community College District. The Cy-Fair College Fairbanks Center will deliver in March 2002.

HOUSTON-Caldwell Watson Real Estate Group has teamed with North Harris Montgomery County Community College District to develop their second college center. The groundbreaking ceremony Thursday will kick off construction on a 52,000-sf building at 14955 NW. Freeway in northwest Houston.

Fred Caldwell, president of Caldwell Watson tells GlobeSt.com the firm will provide turnkey development on the project, taking it from land development to construction completion. The Cy-Fair College Fairbanks Center is scheduled for completion in March 2002.

Caldwell says the relationship with his company and the college district goes back for a number of years. Caldwell Watson also developed the Tomball College at Willow Chase Center, a 52,000-sf building located on the edge of Caldwell Watson’s Willowbrook Business and Technology Center industrial park. Watson says his firm’s interest in college centers stems from the positive contributions the schools make to the community.
