Evergreen Opens Manufacturing Facility

MARLBORO, MA-Evergreen Solar Inc. opens a manufacturing and headquarters facility here. The company has operated a pilot production line in Waltham for the past three years but anticipates that this 56,000-sf facility will increase its manufacturing capacity.

MARLBORO, MA-Evergreen Solar Inc. opened a manufacturing and headquarters facility here at 259 Cedar St. The company anticipates that this 56,000-sf factory will significantly increase Evergreen’s manufacturing capacity.

Evergreen develops, markets and manufactures solar power products for the worldwide market. Over the past three years, the company operated a pilot production line in Waltham, MA. Recently, demand for its products has increased spurred by the energy crisis in California. In addition, Evergreen’s products are in use in the World Trade Center in Tokyo, which recently installed 85kW of Evergreen’s product.
