OAKLAND-One of the state’s largest law firms, Crosby, Heafey, Roach & May, signed a $50-million lease renewal for 90,000 sf in Transpacific Development Co.’s Lake Merritt Plaza at 1999 Harrison Street in Oakland. The 11-year deal averages out to more than $4.20 per sf per month.

The 460,000 -f office tower is currently 99% leased, according to Transpacific, a Torrance-based real estate development and management company. The law firm will occupy the 21st through the 25th floors of the 16-year-old Lake Merritt Plaza, and is expected to make significant improvements to the office space.
