Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc. had overseen the renovation of the one million-sf, class-A office building. American General Financial Group, which has its world headquarters in the building, is the owner of America Tower. Architectural firm Ziegler and Cooper had designed the multi-million dollar renovation. Redone areas include the front drive, lobby, building entry, architectural porte-cochere, multi-building security system, powered window washing platform, restroom upgrades, repairs and sealing, new flag pole and curtain wall cleaning.
America Tower has won TOBY face-offs with buildings in New Mexico, Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. And, it's the recipient of the American General Contractors' Apex Award for construction excellence and heralded as the project of the year by the American Subcontractors Association.
