Delphi Group Research predicts the portal software market will reach $2 billion by 2003. In its most recent report on the subject, Delphi reports that the business portal software market topped $405 million in 2000, up 128% compared to 1999. The market advisor also found that Plumtree Software led the portal applications segment with 12.8% market share.

In addition to Colliers, venture-funded Plumtree announced another corporate portal client in the American Institute of Architects (AIA), a nationwide organization of licensed architects and allied professionals. Other brand-name clients include Procter & Gamble, BP, Ford Motor Company, Kmart, UTC Aerospace, State Street and Motorola.
