Martin Clark of agent Stiles Harold Williams, which acted jointly with Knight Frank for the lessor, said, 'We had two companies fighting it out for the same space, which shows the demand there now is in Brighton. We are very pleased that Ericsson has moved part of its operation from Burgess Hill into the town although there is now a chronic shortage of supply in the Brighton office market.' Matrix Facilities Management Limited represented Ericsson.

In the other transaction, Kimberly-Clark has signed for 25,000 sf in Mocatta House, also part of the Trafalgar Place scheme. The company has agreed to a new 15-year sub-lease from Consignia with break options at the fifth and 10th years, at an initial rent of £16.39 ($23.44) per sf. Stiles Harold Williams advised the sub-lessee and Gerald Eve acted for Consignia.
