Multi-Government Building In the Works

BREMERTON, WA-A $33-million building is proposed for downtown Bremerton, a major gateway to the Olympic Peninsula. The government center would house offices for the City of Bremerton along with 250 county employees.

BREMERTON, WA-Kitsap County has committed $320,000 for the designs and studies needed to approve a $33 million government building between Fifth and Sixth streets in downtown Bremerton, a six-mile ferry ride from downtown Seattle.

The government center would house offices for the City of Bremerton along with 250 county employees. It would be developed and managed by the Kitsap County Consolidated Housing Authority. Many of the county employees would move from nearby Port Orchard.
