The Sorrento Mesa office and industrial markets have been hot of late. Two lease deals worth a combined $14.2 million were signed about a month ago. Altera Corp. recently signed a five-year, $4.7-million lease for 30,334 sf of office space in the Sorrento South Corporate Center.

Stan Drosch of Colliers International represented NurLogic Design. Andrea Ferris of the Franklin Croft Group represented the lessor.

Founded in 1997, NurLogic Design develops, markets and supports fiber optic interfaces, integrated circuits and intellectual products. The company will relocate from its Scranton Road corporate offices to the Morehouse site this month. Some minor refurbishing work is currently under way.

The 65,982 sf, two-story corporate office building was developed by Joseph Development Co. in 1989. Previous tenants include Ball Engineering and Fairchild Semiconductor.

The Morehouse building features computer room with raised floor and linear cooling system, data cabling network, HVAC energy management system with remote access, and phone equipment room with uninterruptible power source and independent cooling.
