Hospital Breaks Ground on $32-Mil Project

LOUISVILLE, CO-Avista Adventist Hospital will grow to 170,000 sf from 100,000 sf as a result of a $32-million expansion project on its hospital campus in this growing city near Boulder.

LOUISVILLE, CO-Avista Adventist Hospital broke ground on a $32-million expansion project on its hospital campus in this city near Boulder. The expansion almost doubles the size of the 11-year-old hospital.

The hospital will grow to 170,000 sf from 100,000 sf.

Avista interviewed three healthcare architectural firms in the country and selected Earl Swensson Associates Inc. of Nashville, TN to design the addition. Avista hired Phoenix-based Kitchell Contractors Inc. as the general contractor.
