At least four major deals accounted for a large block of leased space in the North Bay in the past month. The Western Institute of Science & Health expanded into 13,218 sf of space at 130 Avram Ave. in Rohnert Park. Preston Smith of Orion and Morgan Spaulding of Spaulding & Slye Colliers International represented the Western Institute in the $415,160 transaction.
TriVascular Systems moved into 21,631 sf at 3660 N. Laughlin Rd. in Santa Rosa. Paul Schwarz of Orion represented the lessee in the $1.4-million transaction.
Organic Foods producer Amy's Kitchen Inc., leased 19,262 sf of office space at 2330 Northpoint Pkwy. in Santa Rosa. Barry Palma and Peter O'Brien of Orion Partners Ltd./Colliers International represented the owner in the $455,546 transaction. Mark Levin of Meridian Commercial represented Amy's Kitchen. Palma also represented both sides in the lease of 1,875 sf of office space at 585 W. College Ave. in Santa Rosa. Attorneys Peter Harris and Maiolo Muchow took the deal with a total consideration of $196,875.
In yet another transaction--this time a sale--a four-story, 20,000-sf office building at 638 Webster St. sold to Sun Hill Corp. of Mill Valley for about $2.8 million. The sale-lease back involved LeeHah Electronics, which will remain as the tenant. Anton Qiu of TRI Commercial represented both sides.
