Nearly 50% of 245,000-SF Renovated Building Leased

SILVER SPRING, MD-Social & Scientific Systems has decided to consolidate its offices throughout Maryland into 88,230 sf at 8757 Georgia Ave. here. Also, J&E Associates has leased 5,906 sf.

SILVER SPRING, MD-Atlantic Realty Cos. is spending $20 million renovating its office building at 8757 Georgia Ave. The investment has yielded two lease deals for 94,136 sf of the 245,000 sf building. The now almost 50% leased building will be ready for occupancy soon.

Social & Scientific Systems Inc. is taking 88,230 sf on the ninth through 12th floors of the 14-story building. Howard Jensen of Atlantic Realty and Andrew Masters of Insignia/ESG represented the owner. Philip McCarthy and Keith Forey of Transwestern Commercial Services represented the tenant.
