Based on the success of that test, a new 2,500-sf store is under construction near Mallof America's Sam Goody Central rotunda. QVC @ The Mall allows customers to see, touch and purchase much of the same merchandise they can acquire through QVC'stelevision program or through iQVC, QVC's e-commerce site.
With broadcasting studios integrated into a unique store design, QVC @ The Mall will produce live television shows directly from its new retail location. Additionally, QVC has signed a 10-year sponsorship agreement with Mall of America as the official interactive commerce partner of the 4.2-million-sf mall.
QVC, based in West Chester, PA, markets a wide variety of brand name products in suchcategories as home furnishing, licensed products, fashion, beauty, electronics and fine jewelry and reaches an estimated 79 million homes in the US.
