An ABCO grocery store anchors the center, but it isn't included in the sale. Also not included is a freestanding Burger King. Those tenants in the bought space are Payless Shoe Source, Goodwill Superstores, Subway, Wells Fargo Bank ATM and Taco Bell.
Pepperwood Plaza is located about a mile east of Interstate 10, half-mile south of Superstition Freeway and about half-mile east of Arizona Mills, a regional mall. Tempe is landlocked on all sides and there is little available land remaining for development.
Jack Wilson's Phoenix-based real estate investment firm, GSWI LP, is the seller. Brokers Greg Valladao and Stormy Basha, both of the Phoenix office of Grubb & Ellis Co., have acted on the seller's behalf. Broker Neil Sherman of NBS Realty's Phoenix office has represented the buyer.
