Current president William C. Beiler, prominent in commercial real estate industry circles, is leaving Orlando for a new position with Raymond James Bank in St. Petersburg, FL, 80 miles west of Downtown.

The job is expected to pay a starting six-figure annual salary, area banking officials intimate with the CNL situation tell GlobeSt.com on condition of anonymity. James M. Seneff Jr., chairman/CEO of CNL Financial Group Inc. and his associates will make the final decision on the successful candidate.

CNL Holdings bought Beiler's $30 million-asset Alliance Bank two years ago. The bank earned $27,000 last year; has equity capital of $8.4 million; and showed a return on equity of .36%.
