LONDON-Parkview International's ambitious plans to redevelop Battersea Power

LONDON-Parkview International’s ambitious plans to redevelop Battersea PowerStation into a retail and leisure destination have received final approvalfrom the London Borough of Wandsworth.

The Thames-side landmark has had a chequered history since the building waspartly demolished in the late 1980s. The latest planning decision gaveapproval to Nicholas Grimshaw’s proposal for the redevelopment of BatterseaJetty, a 725-room hotel to form part of Europe’s largest conference centrewith 193,750 sf of meeting and banqueting space and a 2,100 seat theatre.
