New Freeway Spurs $49-Mil Office Project

CHANDLER, AZ-Lowe Enterprise Commercial Group, a Los Angeles-based developer, has started work on a $49-million office project in Chandler. Chandler Commons Office Park’s first phase consists of 375,000 sf of corporate office space. The five-building campus will feature two-story office buildings in a campus setting. Kent Merselis, vice president of Lowe Enterprises Commercial Group tells GlobeSt.com that build-out of the 26-acre site will take two to three years. Lowe purchased the property in July 2000.

The first phase consists of two buildings, 72,000 sf and 79,000 sf. They are scheduled for completion in October, says Merselis. The floor plates will range from 35,000 sf to 40,000 sf. The campus will be tied into the city’s primary fiber optic loop, which runs under Chandler Boulevard, providing high-speed Internet access.

DMJM Architecture Group designed the project and Hunt Construction Group is the general contractor. The Phoenix office of CB Richard Ellis is the leasing agent.
