It's scheduled to open in February 2002 and will replace his current 13,000-sf dealership at 4300 S. Federal Blvd.
Fisher Associates Architects & Engineers are designing the dealership building.
To visually break the building into smaller blocks, a variety of materials and roof heights will create an illusion of separate units rather than one long building. Milander-White Construction Co. is the general contractor.
''We're very excited about Stewart's Ferrari,'' says Brian Vogt, president of the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce. ''This is further evidence not only of the growth but of the quality of the growth we are seeing in the area.''
Stewart says he doesn't see any softening of the economy. In fact, he says he's basically sold out of his high-end cars, which easily can range in price from $180,000 for a 360 Ferrari Spyder to about $225,000 for the Bentley Arnage.
''That's the most popular Bentley,'' he tells GlobeSt.com. He will be carrying Maseratis next March. They only cost about $100,000.
