GlobeSt.com EXCLUSIVE: Catalfumo Considering Additional Acquisitions

PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL-The locally based commercial general contractor enters an expansion mode as demand increases and five-month contract volume soars to $175 million.

PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL-Just through the first five months of this year, officials at Catalfumo Construction & Development Inc. estimate they have booked about $175 million in commercial construction contracts. The general contracting company closed last year on a total of about $110 million in contracts.

Some of this new growth may be attributed to the announcement in March that the Palm Beach Gardens-based company acquired Riviera Beach-based Fischer-Clark Construction Inc. for an undisclosed sum.

In actuality, Daniel S. Catalfumo, the company’s founding owner and president, tells GlobeSt.com the increase in new business comes from an onslaught of demand for the company’s services. The demand is so intense Catalfumo is now negotiating the acquisitions of two unidentified commercial general contracting companies.
