The new owners are in the process of converting the 152-unit residential complex from its current use as conventional town-home rental community apartments to a cooperative community. This allows the residents to have an ownership interest in the community.

Rick Brace, associate broker, and Kevin P. Dillon, senior sales associate, at Dietz represented the seller and buyer in the transaction. Terms of thesale were cash to new financing.

Northampton Village was built in the mid-1960s and is located at 7702 Harcourt Rd., south of 72nd Street. The complex features Old English-style architecture and amenities, including a swimming pool, two tennis courts and a playground.
