By merging its U.S. title operations, the Miami-based homebuilder considers North American Title as one of the largest title service providers in the country. Last year, North American Title provided title insurance and closing services for more than 110,000 residential and commercial real estate transactions.

Through the reorganization, North American Title now oversees operations of Universal Title Insurors of Florida, Southwest Land Title of Dallas/Fort Worth, Regency Title of Houston, TX, and Texas Professional Services of Austin, TX. North American Title currently operates offices in Arizona, California and Colorado, in addition to managing Title America, a Florida-based underwriter.

"This consolidation integrates our network of branch offices and underwriting attorneys, positioning the company to provide better service while operating more efficiently," Linda Reed, president of North American Title, says in a prepared statement. "Also, North American Title and its affiliates will now offer greater resources to buyers, sellers and builders with 1031 Exchange services, referral and relocation services, competitive pricing and underwriting expertise."
