Neal Warling, senior vice president of the company, and Theresa Flynn of the office services group represented the original tenant, Instrumentation Laboratories, in disposing of the space on a sublease basis. After securing the University as a prospective tenant, Warling and Flynn were successful in negotiating a release for Instrumentation Laboratories and then signing a direct five-year lease with the landlord, Thomas McMullen Co.
"Sublease transactions create special challenges, but in this case, we found a solution that benefited all parties and allowed our client to make a clean exit," Warling says.
