Gainsborough Morrison Takes Five Office Sites

LONDON-Gainsborough Morrison, the serviced office operator jointly owned Gainsborough Group and Morrison Developments, has secured five new UK sites totalling more than 210,000 sf.

LONDON-Gainsborough Morrison, the serviced office operator jointly owned Gainsborough Group and Morrison Developments, has secured five new UK sites totalling more than 210,000 sf. The company has taken space in new office developments in Watford, Hertfordshire; Slough and Bracknell, Berkshire; Edinburgh, Scotland and Leeds, West Yorkshire as part of its plan to open a network of 20 serviced offices throughout the country in the next four years.

Simon Harding, Gainsborough Group’s Chief Executive, said: ‘We are currently focusing on UK provincial towns, including a number of opportunities in Manchester and the Midlands.’

In Watford Gainsborough Morrison has taken a pre-let at Terrace Hill Group’s 64 Clarendon Road scheme for its biggest centre so far. It has agreed a 15-year lease on the 65,500 sf at a rent of £24.50 ($34.80) per sf.
