The business park is the largest in the Sacramento metro area. It consists of 8 million sf of existing space that will expand to 17 million sf at build out. The park is part of the conversion of the former McClellan Air Force Base and is being developed by a team put together by the Sacramento County Department of Military Base Conversion.
The SureWest Broadband agreement supports the efforts of parent company, SureWest Communications to diversify the corporation into competitive markets. SureWest Broadband will market a full complement of voice, data and Internet service in the park. SureWest Broadband has begun rebuilding the infrastructure for the existing conduit system acquired from the business park developers through the agreement.
