MIAMI-Milon Corp. N.V. has won a reprieve on a plan to build a mixture of townhomes and apartments on a 109-acres site in west Miami-Dade County.

The Netherlands-based development company, which uses a Boca Raton post office address, successfully petitioned the Miami-Dade County Commission last week to remand a zoning petition to Community Zoning Appeals Board No. 11, which rejected the application earlier this year.

In its appeal, the Boca Raton company challenged the board’s decision to deny a zoning change from interim districts to a modified single-family residential district and a minimum apartment house district.
