The retail space will be supported by a 420-space car park and will be immediately adjacent to the new bus station, which will be relocated from the site of the proposed scheme which is due for completion in early 2004.
Farringford already owns the majority of the site and is close to finalising agreements for the acquisition of the remainder. Sole letting agent Healey & Baker reports strong retailer interest in the scheme even before a planning application has been lodged.
