Ladera Shopping Center, developed by MacFarlane Partners, will also be honored by CREW LA. The retail development, on Slauson Avenue in West LA, has succeeded in bringing together shoppers from both the prosperous Westside and the less-affluent Inglewood and South-Central areas.

TrizecHahn will be feted for a pair of big redevelopment projects. The first is its $430-million Hollywood and Highland project, which includes the 640-room Renaissance Hollywood Hotel and a permanent home for the Academy Awards at the star-crossed corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue. The other is Paseo Colorado, which will bring more than 1 million sf of retail, office and sorely needed apartment units to Pasadena.
