Warner, who joined the company in 1985 as director of business development, is one of few women to have achieved this level of accomplishment in Arizona's construction industry. Warner moves from the position of executive vice president.
"Carol has more than 20 years of business development experience in the construction industry and she knows this business inside and out," says Chris Johnson, CEO and co-founder of Johnson Carlier.
As president and chief operating officer, Warner will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of Johnson Carlier and implementation of company plans, policies, vision and mission. She currently serves as president of the Arizona Builders Alliance and had been the first woman elected to the board of directors of the Associated General Contractors of America.
Johnson Carlier, a medium-size general contracting company that had more than $55 million in revenue last year, has been building in Arizona since the early 1920s. Its projects include clean rooms, manufacturing facilities, recreational facilities, corporate offices and medical centers throughout Arizona, California and Nevada.
