Agere Systems Goes With Duke-Weeks

ATLANTA-The Allentown, PA-based microelectronics firm, formerly part of Lucent Technologies in Murray Hill, NJ, is leasing 45,000 sf for eight years at Hampton Green on Shackleford Road in Gwinnett County.

ATLANTA-Agere Systems has decided its best office leasing deal is with Duke-Weeks Realty Corp.’s Hampton Green on Shackleford Road in Gwinnett County. The former microelectronics division of Murray Hill, NJ-based Lucent Technologies Inc., is taking 45,000 sf for eight years.

Company officials wouldn’t disclose the value of the lease. But area brokers familiar with the Gwinnett County office market tell GlobeSt.com on condition of anonymity the estimated aggregate gross value of the full-service lease is $8 million or about $22 per sf.
