Panera Taps Shelby, Troy for New Locations

DETROIT-The nation's leading bakery-cafi brand has chosen Shelby Township and Troy for its newest locations. The Shelby location opens June 25 on bustling Hall Road across from Lakeside Mall.

DETROIT-The new bakery-café in Shelby will be located on the bustling Hall Road across from Lakeside Mall. It is scheduled to open June 25. The new location in Troy is planned to open July 9, and will be located on Coolidge and Maple roads in Troy’s new Midtown Square development.

Currently operating 285 bakery-cafes in 29 states, the company is growing toward its goal of more than 500 bakery-cafes across the US in the next few years. The company reported revenue of $350 million in 2000.
