Voit Development has paid $7.4 million for the mixed-use project. The complex, which is located at 516 E. Santa Ana St, consists of nine buildings.

The project has been acquired from the Black & Decker Co., which purchased Kwikset Corp. in 1989. Both Voit and the Black & Decker were represented by a Cushman & Wakefield brokerage team consisting of Jeff Chiate, Rick Ellison and Mike Clark.

The deal comes on the heels of Voit Development's announcement last month that it will build a $35 million speculative industrial park in Brea. Voit plans to construct the 500,000-sf, 16-building complex on a 30-acre parcel located north of Lambert Road off Berry Street. It is being touted as the largest speculative industrial park to be built in Orange County in several years.
