JBI, founded in 1989, has divisions that focus on electrical, telecommunications and sound work. The new operation is in a 7,000-sf center that is home to a mix of single users. JBI has selected a facility at 4711 Shavano, located near the intersection of FM 1604 and Interstate 10.

Jeff Brown of Transwestern Commercial Services' San Antonio office has represented JBI. The building owner, Donald Van Leeuwen, has negotiated the deal on his own behalf. The Chicago-based Transwestern has offices in 28 cities and specializes in corporate advisory, investment services, development, research, management and leasing services for office, industrial and retail projects.
