La Quinta Inns Lands in Oregon

PORTLAND-The Dallas-based chain landed its first Oregon franchise last week when owners of the Red Roof Inn near Portland International Airport officially switched allegiances.

PORTLAND-La Quinta Inns landed its first hotel in Oregon last week when owners of a Red Roof Inn near Portland International Airport switched allegiances and put up a new sign: La Quinta Inn & Suites. The hotel has 98 rooms and can accommodate groups of 50 in two meeting rooms.

The franchise is owned by Pacific Inns LLC and is located near the intersection of Interstate 205 and Airport Way, at 11207 NE Hollman St. “We feel the La Quinta brand is a better fit for our property,” an employee of the franchisee tells GlobeSt.com.
