Applied Micro Circuits Tops Out at Poway Campus

SAN DIEGO-A high-tech firm has completed the framework on its newest facility, a 102,000-sf complex spanning almost five acres in Poway.

SAN DIEGO-Applied Micro Circuits Corp. has completed the framework on its newest facility in San Diego, a 102,000-sf complex spanning almost five acres in Poway.

The building, located down the street from the company’s existing corporate headquarters at 6290 Sequence Drive, will provide 350 offices, primarily for the company’s executive, engineering, marketing, purchasing and human resource departments. The facility is scheduled for completion on Dec. 26.

“This step towards the completion of our future headquarters demonstrates our commitment to ongoing growth and strength in consistently attracting leading engineering expertise in San Diego,” said Dave Rickey, chairman, president and CEO of AMCI. “This building will allow our executive, marketing, engineering and human resource departments to work cohesively under one roof and optimize the synergy, communication and innovation within our teams.
