3Com Corp To Sell Four-Building Office Park

MARLBOROUGH, MA-3Com Corp. is selling its four building office park here. The networking equipment manufacturer recently decided to outsource its manufacturing to Flextronics, but plans to lease back some space here after it finds a buyer.

MARLBOROUGH, MA-3Com Corp., the networking equipment manufacturer, will sell its four-building office park here. The move is a result of the California-based company’s plan to outsource manufacturing to Singapore-based Flextronics.

The company has stated that once it sells the 128-acre park, it will lease back the space it needs here. 3com also intends to sell its facilities in Mount Prospect, Illinois and a portion of its headquarters’ campus in Santa Clara, California.
