The Tony's Meats will join a 35,000-sf Bed Bath & Beyond in the center, along with a Cold Stone Creamery, Mile High Aquariums and other tenants, he says. Perlmutter adds landing Tony's is a coup because it is so well respected in the Denver area.
''They're much more than a butcher,'' Perlmutter says. 'They have a great, full-service deli and their own bakery. And I know from personal experience, that their service is extraordinary.''
Jordan Perlmutter & Co., the original developer of Southwest Plaza, owns five shopping centers near Southwest Plaza.
Tony Rosacci, founder and president of his namesake store, says he thinks the southwestern corridor is under-served as far as gourmet choices.
''Our Bowles Village Center store will bring together everything we've learned from 22 years of business,'' Rosacci says.
