The top-level features 18,000-sf of operational office space. The second story is the buffet level which features a 25-person dining room for private functions; seating areas with tables and chairs broken into pods that accommodate 475 diners at a time and six themed serving stations for various ethnic cuisine offerings. Three of thestations are self-serve and the other three feature "theatre" service feature custom-painted murals and a chef preparing the food.
Minneapolis-based KKE Architects was the lead architect for the building and interior space and worked in conjunction with design firm, Yates Silverman Interior Design, known for its theatrical environmental designs for such notable Las Vegas spaces as New York, New York and Paris. Mystic Lake is owned and run by the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community.
